O R D E R
This Contempt Petition arises out of the order dated 21.10.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.1107 of 2017.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that as directed by this court, the first respondent vide proceedings in Pa.Mu.360/2022/A1 dated 21.03.2022, has issued legal heirship certificate to the petitioner and the same was also communicated to the petitioner on 21.06.2022. Thus, according to the learned counsel, the order of this court has been complied with by the first respondent.
3. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that without considering the directions issued by this Court in the aforesaid order dated 21.10.2021, the first respondent has issued the aforesaid proceedings, which amounts to nothing short of a contumacious act.
4. This Court is of the opinion that the submissions so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner cannot be gone into, on merits, in this 2/4
petition. Hence, recording the submission so made on the side of the first respondent, the Contempt Petition stands closed. However, as prayed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings dated 21.03.2022 issued by the first respondent in the manner known to law, if he is so advised. 24.06.2022 mrr Index : Yes/No 3/4
