ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 4.3.2016 in W.P.No.8063 of 2016, directed the respondent herein to consider the case of the petitioner for issuance of patta and pass an appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order, by affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to the necessary parties. Alleging that the said order https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that as per the direction of this Court, the respondent herein has passed an order dated 17.7.2016 on the representation of the petitioner, by rejecting the same.

3. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this contempt petition and hence, the contempt petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved over the same, he is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if he is so advised.
