Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ order or direction in the nature of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 herein to shift the overhead electric lines running across the land and building of the petitioner's premises without any further delay by disposing the representation dated 23.12.2011, submitted by the petitioner herein before the respondents herein, by complying the specific direction issued by the first respondent herein issued under proceeding No.Oo.Mu.No.126/2012/BC1 dated 13.01.2012 in order to safeguard the life and properties of the petitioner premises situated at Plot No.77 and S.No.7/3B of LGGS society layout of Sevilimedu Village, Kancheepuram Town, Kancheepuram District. The prayer sought for herein in this Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 herein to shift the overhead electric lines running across the land and building of the petitioner's premises without any further delay by disposing the representation dated 23.12.2011, submitted by the petitioner herein before the respondents herein, by complying the specific direction issued by the first respondent herein issued under proceeding No.Oo.Mu.No.126/2012/BC1 dated 13.01.2012 in order to safeguard the life and properties of the petitioner premises situated at Plot No.77 and S.No.7/3B of LGGS society layout of Sevilimedu Village, Kancheepuram Town, Kancheepuram District.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would be suffice to issue a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation dated 08.04.2010 submitted by the petitioner.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent concedes with the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
4. Without expressing any opinion on merits, I am inclined to issue a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation dated 08.04.2010 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5.With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
