PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records in the impugned order vide No.227/TOK/A2/2026, dated 06.01.2026 passed by the 6th respondent and quash the same and to direct the 6th respondent to issue Scheduled Caste Certificate Hindu Parayan (original) to the petitioner within the time limit fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) After arguing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and pursue the remedy of appeal, which has already been filed and is pending.

2. With the aforesaid liberty, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The appellate authority shall decide the appeal, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
