Mr.Era. Premnath, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 04.08.2017 in seeking permission to conduct cultural program in A/M Annai Sri Renuka Desa Mariamman Temple, Desiya Nagar, New Washermenpet, Chennai - 81 scheduled to be held on 22.08.2017 from 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the representation being given to the respondent on 04.08.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 22.08.2017, the respondent has not passed orders till today. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

5.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2017 and the objections if any, raised by the other parties, with regard to conduct of of cultural programme on 22.08.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 19.08.2017. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
