Prayer : Writ Petition filed under 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench to take up O.A.No.714 of 2019 dated 10.06.2019 on its file and dispose the same. For Petitioner :

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J) The petitioner filed application in O.A.No.714 of 2019 dated 10.06.2019 before the Central Administrative Tribunal, challenging the transfer orders passed. Seeking earlier adjudication upon the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that several adjournments have been given by the Central Administrative Tribunal at the instance of the counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. Despite the same, no counter affidavit has been filed by respondents 1 to 3. There is an urgency involved in the matter. The issue is also not very complicated and, therefore, appropriate direction will have to be issued.

3. Considering the submission made, and after going through the documents filed, we are inclined to direct the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench to dispose of O.A.No.714 of 2019 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
