O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to take appropriate departmental action as against the second respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner is the wife of one Dhanasekaran @ Ennor Dhanasekaran, who is stated to be a history sheeter and a habitual offender involved in several criminal cases. The said Dhanasekaran is now in judicial custody, both as an under trial and as a convicted prisoner, pursuant to the registration of the FIR in Crime No.1453 of 2020 for the offences under Section 8(c) r/w 20(b)III)(C), 25, 29(1) of NDPS Act. He was implicated as an accused based on the confession statement and was subsequently arrested and remanded to judicial custody.

4. In order to escape from the clutches of law, the petitioner, who is being the wife of the accused, has submitted a representation on the ground that her husband was arrested and remanded to judicial custody without adherence to due procedure.

5. In view of the above facts, this Court is of the opinion that the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered and is liable to be rejected.
