This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 08.04.2014 and file a final report in accordance with law.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 08.04.2015 by post to the Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore. The petitioner is directed to go in person and give a fresh complaint to the second respondent and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into in accordance with law, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh & Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
