ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioners with permanent employment, on par with Junior Training Officers with all attendant benefits, based on the representation of the petitioners dated 20.03.2020.

The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners were appointed as Full Time Temporary Instructors on contract basis at the Government Industrial Training Institutes, Guindy, Chennai, which is same as that of Junior Training Officers in the respondents Department. He would further submit that
initially, the course was started as Hospitality Management and later, converted into Craftsman Training Scheme, with effect from the month of August 2015 and the same was approved as regular course. As on date, the course is made as regular course, but, the petitioners remain as Temporary Instructors.

The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that though the petitioners have completed 10 years of service continuously, the petitioners were ousted from service and fresh appointment orders have been issued, in order to prevent them from claiming regularization. Therefore, since the petitioners are fully qualified to hold the post of regular time scale post on par with the Junior Training Officer and possess necessary educational qualifications and experience, they submitted a detailed representation dated 20.03.2020 to all the respondents, praying to regularize their services, however, there is no response. Hence, the petitioners have approached this Court to issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated
20.03.2020 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 20.03.2020, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned counsel for the petitioners is also given an opportunity to present the case of the petitioners before the appropriate forum. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
