The petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 04.05.2016 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324, 341 and 506(2) and 307 IPC in Crime No.36 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail

2. The case of the prosecution is that there was a dispute regarding temple festival accounts between the petitioner and the defacto complainant and on this aspect, the petitioner has assaulted the defacto complainant with knife, due to which, he got injured.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has opposed to grant bail to the petitioner stating that the petitioner is involved one previous case in Crime No.10 of 2016 and that if the petitioner is released on bail, he will tamper the witnesses.

5. Since serious allegations have been levelled against the petitioner and he has involved in one previous case, this court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner and the petition is dismissed. 27.06.2016 kal
