Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to promote the petitioner as Executive Officer Grade I and as Executive Officer Selection Grade from the date on which his immediate junior was promoted with reference to the placement in the final seniority list published on 12.07.2012 with all attendant benefits and the respondents consequently directed to revise the pension and other terminal benefits of the petitioner in the post of Executive Officer Selection Grade and pay the same along with arrears. ORDER

The present petition has been filed this writ petition, to direct the respondent to revise the pension and other terminal benefits of the petitioner in the post of Executive Officer Selection Grade on par with the date on which his immediate junior was promoted with reference to the placement in the final seniority list published on 12.07.2013 with all attendant benefits.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition has become infructuous. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
