O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.711 of 2011 and file a final report before the learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Today, Mr.M.Sathiyalingam, Inspector of Police, R-7, K.K.Nagar Police Station, Chennai is present and he has filed a Status Report, wherein, in paragraph No.6 and 7, it is stated as follows: "6.It is submitted that after completion of investigation, the Sub-Inspector of Police [Crime] filed a Charge Sheet under sections 406, 420 IPC in Cr.No.711 of 2011 on 20.07.2015 and has sent it for legal opinion to the Asst. Public Prosecutor, Saidapet and the same has to be obtained.

7.It is submitted that meanwhile the petitioner filed this direction petition before this Hon'ble Court, Madras https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

seeking to direct the respondent police to investigate the case in crime No.711/2011 on his file to file a final report before the appropriate court in accordance with law."
