When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner's husband is an accused in Crime No.116 of 2026, registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, for illegal possession of commercial quantity of narcotic substances. He further submitted that the petitioner was not harassed during the investigation and that her presence is not required for further investigation.
