ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the selection list published by the first respondent dated 04.01.2024 to the post of Assistant to Co-operative Institutions.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner was qualified and eligible for the post of Assistant to Co-operative Institutions. On the Notification issued by the first respondent dated 10.11.2023, the petitioner applied and he had written examination. However, the petitioner was not selected for oral test. Therefore, the petitioner challenged the selection list on the ground that the Rule of Reservation was not followed by the respondents to the post of Assistant in Cooperative Institutions.

4. On written instructions, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that in the written examination, the

petitioner had secured 58.65 marks and he was ranked at 1253 out of 1446. A provisionally selection list was published in the ratio of 1:2/1:3 based on the Rule of Reservation. Therefore, the petitioner was not selected to the pots of Assistant. Now the interview is also over.

5. In view of the above, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the selection list published by the first respondent dated 04.01.2024. Thus, the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
