ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction directing the 1st respondent/The Director of School Education, Chennai to include his name in the panel for Head Master's General Transfer counseling to be conducted in the month of May 2018. 2.
The petitioner would state that he was appointed as a BT Assistant in Mathematics on 27.08.1991 through Teachers Recruitment Board and posted at Government Higher Secondary School, Ayakarankulam, Thanjavur District and further promoted to various posts. While working as a Head Master, all of a sudden on 22.04.2014, the petitioner was issued with an order of suspension in R.C.No.7112/B1/2013 by the Chief Educational Officer, Thanjavur/the 2nd respondent herein. The petitioner would submit that he filed a writ petition in WP.No.13588 of 2014 to quash the same but the same is pending before this Hon'ble Court. In the meantime, the 1st respondent is going to conduct counseling for Transfer of Head Master's as per Headmaster's General Transfer counseling in the Month of May and in this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation on 24.04.2017 to the 2nd respondent to include his name in the aforesaid counseling. Since no response is forthcoming, the petitioner has came forward to file this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, so also, perused the materials on record.

Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the petitioner's representation, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 24.04.2017 to include his name in the panel for Head Master General Transfer Counseling, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the representation of the petitioner. No costs.
