The petitioner claimed to be the owner of land in Survey Nos.229/3, 250/1, 250/4 and 251/2 in Dorripalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri. The petitioner made representation to the respondents 1 and 2 on 11.1.2018 to restore his name in the joint patta.

After receiving the representation, the respondents 1 and 2 have not taken any action and the same is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has come to this Court.

2 The learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents seeks sufficient time to dispose of the pending representation given by the petitioner.

3 Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and the submission made by the learned Govt. Advocate, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.1.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

Writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
