Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the representation dated 28.02.2014 praying to cancel the license granted to the second respondent.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 28.02.2014 to the first respondent praying for cancelling the license granted to the second respondent, stating among other things, that the premise was let out for a period of ten years commencing from 01.01.1976 to 31.12.1980 and thereafter, the second respondent cannot continue their business and they are in unlawful possession of the same and consequently, the license cannot be renewed and it should be cancelled. Though the representation was received on 28.02.2014, no response is forthcoming and hence, the petitioner came forward to file this Writ Petition.
3. Heard the submissions made by Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned counsel for the petitioners.
4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioners, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 28.02.2014 in accordance with law after putting on notice the respondents 2 and 3 and pass orders as expeditiously as possible, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 2 and 3.
