The prayer in the present petition is to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1398 of 2017 on the file of the second respondent police to the third respondent.

2. Heard Mr.R.Rajarajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The points raised by the petitioner are not sufficient to order for transfer of the investigation. However, since the petitioner apprehends that the investigation has not progressed, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible. Such an investigation shall be monitored by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, Chennai.

4. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition stands ordered.
