(Order of the Court was made by R. MAHADEVAN,J.,) This Contempt petition is filed to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order made in WP No.36873 of 2016 dated 21.10.2016.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the encroachments have been removed, as directed by this Court.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the rain water drainage has not been restored, for which, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the same would be restored as expeditiously as possible.
