O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to direct the respondents to produce the Lorry bearing Registration No. TN43 A 2399 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Coonoor.

2. By a status report dated 09.07.2017, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Koonoor has stated that he is ready to release the vehicle bearing Registration No. TN43 A 2349, which is the grievance of the petitioner. The statement in the status report dated 09.07.2017 is recorded.

3. Accordingly, the petitioner is given liberty to approach the second respondent for release of the vehicle bearing Registration No. TN43 A 2399. On receipt of such application, the second respondent shall dispose of the same within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
