The petitioner has filed this writ petition to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the third respondent in Proceedings No.3311/Ni2/2009 dated 17.08.2012 and quash the same and direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in service with all attendant benefits and refrain from appointing any fresh candidate on temporary and contract basis in the petitioner's place.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

3. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
