Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's degree in B.Sc., Physics conferred by the Vinayaka Mission University Salem, as eligible, valid and consequently direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as per the promotion panel already drawn to the post of B.T.Assistant (Science) in the Panchayath Union Middle School in Amarathanur, Mecheri Union, Salem District forthwith by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2017. ORDER
The petitioner seeks to get validity to the Degree of B.Sc. (Physics) conferred by the Vinayaka Mission University Salem and equalize the eligibility of the degree to be considered by the appropriate authority in accordance with law. 2.This court is not in a position to ascertain the validity or otherwise of the Degree granted by the University cited supra. However, the writ petitioner has submitted the report on 28th March, 2017 to the first respondent.
3.Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to ascertain the equivalence and validity of the degree obtained by the writ petitioner by considering the representation dated 28th March, 2017 and pass appropriate orders within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 4.The writ petitioner is also directed to enclose a copy of the representation along with the order passed in this writ petition.
