This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file Final Report in Crime No.220 of 2013.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.220 of 2013 on 05.06.2013 under Sections 406 and 420 IPC. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer.

4.Today, Ms.Dhanalakshmi, Inspector of Police, CCB, Chennai is present before this Court.

5.On instructions, learned Government Advocate submitted that if three months time is granted, the Police will complete the investigation.

6.Recording the submission, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.220 of 2013 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

copy of this order and either file a Charge Sheet or a Closure Report as the case may be under due intimation to the de facto complainant, provided there is no any legal impediment. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
