Prayer in W.P.No.20900 of 2016 :- Writ Petition filed a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to pay and settle the petitioner forthwith a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- payable under Family Benefit Scheme after adjusting a sum of Rs.5,000/- which was paid towards funeral expenses together with interest at the rate of 12% per annum; to pay the petitioner gratuity, provident fund, earned leave and medical leave salary, the amount payable under the social security scheme, IRT contribution and family pension from the date of death of her husband with arrears and other consequential benefits as revised from time to time, together with interest at the rate of 12% per annum till the amounts are actually paid and within the time limit and award costs.

These cases came up for settlement before this Lok Adalat. Mr.G.Saravana Kumar, Standing Counsel for G.D.Pon Prabhakaran, Counsel for the petitioner and Ms.B.Ezhil, Counsel for the respondents 2 to 6 are present in W.P.No.4119 of 2012 and Ms.B.Ezhil, counsel for petitioner and Mr.G.Saravana kumar, Standing Counsel for G.D.Pon Prabhakaran, counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 are present in W.P.No.20900 of 2016. TERMS OF SETTLEMENT In both matters respondent / petitioner present respectively.

The matter has already been settled in the District Legal Services Authority, Vellore in Lok Adalat. Even after the writ petitions arises in the High Court of Madras, Joint Memo of Compromise which have filed before the District Legal Services Authority in Lok Adalat have also sent along with records of writ petitions. Common Joint Memo of Compromise which have filed before the District Legal Services Authority in Lok Adalat shall form part of this order.

2. Now the petitioner and the respondent counsel present, petitioner present. Both of them filed a fresh joint Memo of Compromise filed and recorded. In view of this Joint Memo of Compromise, these matters have been disposed of accordingly, Writ petitions Nos.4119 of 2012 and W.P.No.20900 of 2016 were disposed of as settled. Time for payment is eight weeks.

The full Court fee paid shall be refunded to the petitioner in the manner provided under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu Court-Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955 and the Court Fees Act, 1870 as provided for under sub Sec.1 of Section 21 r/w 25 of LSA Act 1987 as amended in 1994.
