O R D E R

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the Dental Council of India submitted that in compliance of the orders of this Court, the petitioner is admitted subject to the result of the Writ Appeal 1/3

filed by the respondent and he has also circulated a letter dated 26.03.2021 to that effect.

2. The letter of the Dental Council of India dated 26.03.2021 reads as follows:

The Executive Committee, through circulation, has considered all the information/facts in the matter and after discussion decided as under:- That in order to comply with the direction given by Hon'ble High Court of Madras Contempt Petition No.518 of 2021 filed by Ms.Drusillin Joomy J Vs DCI & Ors., a NOC be issued to the candidate provided that the candidate has to submit (i) An application fee of Rs.500/- & (ii) An affidavit about pursuing 240 teaching days before appearing in 2nd professional BDS exam at the transferee college duly certified by the Registrar of the affiliating University. The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.

The aforesaid decision will be subject to final outcome of the Writ Appeal (SR No.29693 of 2021 on 15.3.2021) filed by DCI in the matter.

3. Recording the above, the Contempt petition is closed as no further order is required.
