O R D E R

The petitioner herein is a tenant under the second respondent to whom the impugned demand notice dated 01.02.2012, has been served for the water tax and surcharge. The impugned notice was simultaneously on the second respondent also.

2. Today when the matter was called, the learned counsel for the second respondent, who is the owner of the subject property, has produced a copy of the receipt whereby the demand made in the impugned notice has been paid on 10.08.2019. As such, quashing of the demand https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

notice, at the instance of the tenant does not arise at all and no effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
