Writ petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorari or any other writ, order or direction in the nature of a Writ calling for the records relating to the impugned advertisement by the second respondent published in Thinathanthi Newspaper dated 02.02.2012 and consequential impugned proceedings of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.1/VVIR/O11/2011 dated 06.02.2012 and quash the same as far as the petitioners are concerned.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to quash the proceedings dated 06.02.2012, issued by the second respondent to the petitioners, thereby intimating that fresh tenders have been called for assigning agency for selling milk and milk products by advertisement dated 02.02.2012 published in Thinanthanthi Newspaper and hence called upon the petitioners to hand over the milk booth to the successful bidders, as the tenders are scheduled to be opened on 21.02.2012.

2. At the time of admission, no interim order was granted.

3. This writ petition is of the year 2012. The scheduled date i.e. 21.02.2012, to open the tender is also expired. Therefore, after the lapse of 8 years, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. The connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
