This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to recover the stolen Innova car bearing registration number TN01 AL0777 stands in the name of petitioner's daughter namely G.Arthy and take necessary action against the accused in Crime No.258 of 2018 dated 28.06.2018.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent Police on 30.03.2017 stating that one Madhu, who made good relationship with the petitioner's family, helped the petitioner for buying Innova car bearing registration No.TN01 AL0777 in the name of petitioner's daughter, namely, G.Arthy and had induced her to change the vehicle as hire vehicle and kept the vehicle with him. The said Madhu also obtained the original Sale Deed in document No.5794 of 2007 on the file of the SRO, Konnur and signed blank papers from the petitioner, for collateral security for vehicle loan. When the petitioner came to understand that the vehicle loan EMI was not paid, she tried to meet Madhu. Then only, she came to know that Madhu had absconded with the vehicle. Immediately, the petitioner lodged a complaint before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the respondent Police on 30.03.2017 and on the efforts of the petitioner, FIR was registered on 28.06.2018 in Crime No.258 of 2018. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that on believing the words of Madhu, the petitioner's family is facing lot of problems and hence, he requests to issue suitable direction to the respondent to recover the vehicle. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the case in Crime No.258 of 2018 was registered only on 28.06.2018 and investigation is in progress.
4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.258 of 2018 and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, this petition is disposed of.
