Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2013 given to the first respondent which has been registered as Demand No.KT/13/11976 dated 17.06.2013 and issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the land in S.No.1382/2, Kancheepuram Town, Kancheepuram District.

By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. Petitioner claims that he and his family members are residing at No.33/14, Vijaya Gramani Street, 25th Ward, Hyder Pettai Street, Chinna Kancheepuram, Kancheepuram District and his predecessor in title were in possession of the said property for more than 100 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

years. The petitioner claims right over the property as per the Will executed by his mother on 02.12.2002. The petitioner made various representations to the first respondent praying for issuance of patta under section 13(1) of the Tamil Nadu Minor Inams Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari Act, 1963 (Act 30 of 1963) and since no response is forthcoming, he came forward with the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.Samir Shah, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for respondents.

4. This Court, without going into the merits of the case projected by the petitioner, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the second respondent within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the second respondent, in turn, is directed to consider the same in accordance with law after putting notice on the petitioner and concerned persons and pass orders within a period of ten weeks thereafter and communicate the decision to the petitioner and concerned persons.
