O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records connected with the order passed by the respondent in No.Ve.A.Ni.1/1160/2025-2 dated 17.02.2026 in so far as transferring the services of the petitioner from the Seeds Testing Laboratory, Kanchipuram to Office of the Assistant Director of Agricultural, Walajapath and quash the same.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is working as Agriculture Officer in Seeds Testing Laboratory, Kanchipuram and due to illness, she was on leave from 07.01.2026 to 16.02.2026 and on 18.02.2026, she received the impugned proceedings transferring her from the Seeds Testing Laboratory, Kanchipuram to the Office of the Assistant Director of Agricultural, Walajapath and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner is having two children and they are pursuing School education and if the petitioner joins the transferred place now, it will affect their education, however, the petitioner is ready to join in the 2/4

transferred place from June, 2026. To that effect, the petitioner has filed an additional affidavit dated 27.02.2026 before this Court. 3.The respondent appeared before this Court today and submitted that the impugned transfer order will not be implemented till 31.05.2026 and also agreed to pay salary to the petitioner. 4.In view of the additional affidavit dated 27.02.2026 filed by the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to join in the transferred place i.e., Office of the Assistant Director of Agricultural, Walajapath, on 01.06.2026.
