The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.02.2024 for the offences originally registered under Sections 279 and 337 IPC and subsequently altered to Sections 279 and 304(A) IPC and then altered to Sections 279, 304(2) IPC r/w 134 of MV Act, in Crime No.41 of 2024, seeks bail.

2.It is stated that the petitioner and the deceased were riding together. At that time, there was an accident and the deceased fell down in the road. The petitioner left her in the road and went away. The treatment was not given immediately, causing death. 3.Taking the seriousness of the offence into consideration, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 4.Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 14.03.2024 vkr https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
