When the matter is taken up today for hearing, it is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that pursuant to the order passed by the District Collector and District Magistrate, Vellore District in C3/D.O.No.17/2023 dated 14.03.2023, the petitioner has been detained as "Drug Offender" as contemplated under Section 2(e) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
