Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the respondent in Letter No.AEE/D/Tpr/D/2012 dated 28.01.2012 and quash the same and directing the respondent to restore the electricity connection in S/C.No.575-001-787/1A situated at SF 94/3A, Gangaiamman Koil Street, Alathur, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

O R D E R

The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-TANGEDCO made a submission that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the electricity service connection was restored. Thus, the petitioner is liable to pay all the charges.

2. In view of the submission of the learned Standing Counsel for TANGEDCO that the electricity service connection has already been restored, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
