The above petition is filed by the wife seeking transfer of H.M.O.P.No.633 of 2022, filed by the husband seeking divorce on the file of the Family Court II, Chennai to the file of the Family Court, Karur.

2. The petitioner would submit that she is working in a Company based at Bangalore and considering the petitioner's circumstances the Company has permitted the petitioner to work from home and therefore she is now at Karur. The petitioner would state that it would be extremely difficult for her to travel from Karur to Chennai to attend every hearing. The petitioner would further submit that she has filed a Domestic Violence Case in D.V.C.No.19 of 2021 and the same is pending before the Judicial Magistrate (Additional Mahila Court), Karur and the respondent is also contesting the matter. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The respondent though served has not entered appearance. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner is residing at Karur and also taking into account the difficulties involved in attending the hearing at the Family Court II, Chenni, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. Accordingly, H.M.O.P.No.633 of 2022 pending on the file of the Family Court II, Chennai is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Karur.

Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
