The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2019 and further direct the third respondent to give educational loan to the petitioner for
pursuing (B.E. - Civil) 2nd year, at Agni College of Technology, Thazhambur, Chennai.
2. The petitioner claims that his parents are agriculturists. After completion of his 12th standard, he had joined the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. Civil) at Agni College of Technology, Thazhambur, Chennai for the academic year 2017-18 and had paid the first year fees of Rs.60,000/-. Due to his family circumstances, he was unable to pay the second year college fees. Since the college insisted the petitioner to pay the college fees and tuition fees, he had applied for Educational Loan to the third respondent-Bank by way of NSDL, dated 21.06.2018 for an amount of Rs.2,50,000/-. But the third respondent-Bank refused to give the loan and kept pending the loan application.
