] This petition is filed to condone the delay of 5 days in filing the appeal against the judgement and sentence passed by the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vellore District @ Ranipet, Vellore District in S.C.No.223 of 2022 dated 15.12.2023.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.
