When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.J.Michael Visuvasam, learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent contended that the entire Award amount of Rs.4,52,940/- along with interest at Rs.9,08,242/- [totaling to Rs.13,61,182/- (Rupees Thirteen Lakhs Sixty One thousand One Hundred and Eighty Two only)] was remitted in the account of the first respondent / The Joint Commission of Labour-2, Chennai - 600 006. Therefore nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

3. Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 contended that the Writ Petition may be disposed off in view of the settlement of the entire Award amount.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
