The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the first respondent to pass an order on the representation dated 30.03.2011 pertaining to reduction in rate of interest.

2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent, State Bank of India brought to the notice of this Court that the issue relating to interest had already been settled between the parties before the Lok Adalat at Avinashi.

3.In view of the fact that the issues are settled between the petitioner and the first respondent, no further adjudication is required. If at all, the petitioner has got any other grievance, it is left open to him to approach the competent authority.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
