ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the Respondents to consider the Petitioners for Promotion to the Post of Driver in Coimbatore city Municipal Corporation and promote the petitioners from due date with service and monetary benefits.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ

petition, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioners and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.28272 of 2014 dated 31.07.2017, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
