(in both W.P.s) Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue a "No Objection Certificate" to the petitioner for the purchased property situated at Sathyamoorthy Nagar, Madakulam Village, Madurai as per the representation of the petitioner dated 21.01.2020.\ For Petitioner : Mr.M.Saravanakumar in both W.P.s For Respondents: Mr.R.Bharathkumar in both W.P.s Standing counsel C O M M O N O R D E R Mr.R.Bharathkumar, learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the main writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the first respondent to issue "No Objection Certificate" for the purchased properties situated at Sathyamoorthy Nagar, Madakulam Village, Madurai, based on her representations dated 21.01.2020.
3. It is stated that the petitioner made an application seeking for Patta in respect of the above said properties. It is further stated that the Revenue authority advised the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner to get "No Objection Certificate" from the first respondent for issuance of Patta. Hence, the petitioner made the representations dated 21.01.2020 before the first respondent seeking "No Objection Certificate". The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representations have not been considered by the first respondent so far. Hence, the present writ petitions are filed with the relief as stated supra.
4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are disposed of, only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representations dated 21.01.2020 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
