ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 2.2.2016 in W.P.No.3619 of 2016, directed the first respondent in that writ petition to forward the

representation of the petitioner dated 7.9.2015 to the respondent herein and on receipt of the same, the respondent herein was directed to consider the said representation, seeking land survey register extract, patta and sketch in respect of land of the petitioner, measuring an extent of 1354 Sq.ft. comprised in Survey Number 442/3B, Ward No.A, Block No.12, T.S.No.12/12A, 12C at Kodanagar Village Thiruvathipuram, Cheyyar Town, Cheyyar Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to the necessary parties and pass an appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Alleging that the said order has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with and he has has also produced the order of the respondent dated 25.7.2016 in this regard.

3. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this contempt petition and hence, the contempt petition is closed.
