Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the applications/representations dated 20.11.2019, 20.12.2019 and 10.11.2020 submitted by the petitioner and grant patta in favour of the petitioner for the land measuring Ac.1.60 cents in S.No.4/17, Molappanahalli Village, Karimangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri District within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the applications/representations dated 20.11.2019, 20.12.2019 and 10.11.2020 submitted by the petitioner and grant patta in favour of the petitioner for the land measuring Ac.1.60 cents comprised in S.No.4/17, Molappanahalli Village, Karimangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri District.

2.Mr.G.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate entered appearance for the respondents and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 06.05.2021 at 3.00 p.m at the office of the second respondent.

3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the second respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the petitioner's applications/representations dated 20.11.2019, 20.12.2019 and 10.11.2020 through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks (after the conclusion of the General Elections of the Tamilnadu State Legislative Assembly2021) from 06.05.2021. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
