ORDER

The petitioner had submitted a representation on 29.01.2026 to the Inspector of Police, Muthandikuppam Police Station, stating that the petitioner's land was to be surveyed and that the requisite survey fee had already been paid. At that time, one Santhi, daughter of Kaliyaperumal, objected to the survey, and consequently, the officials, namely, the Surveyor, Village Administrative Officer, and Village Assistant did not conduct the survey. The petitioner, therefore, sought police protection.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, in this matter, the petitioner had earlier approached this Court in W.P.No.1592 of 2026 seeking police protection for survey of the very same property. By order dated 11.12.2025, this Court recorded that police protection had already been granted and that the land had been surveyed on 10.11.2025. Thereafter, the petitioner again submitted a representation on 17.11.2025 seeking the very same relief in respect of the same property. Recording the above, the said writ petition was dismissed.

3. On a perusal of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the order dated 11.12.2025 passed in W.P.No.1592 of 2025, it is clear that the writ petition was closed on the ground that the relief sought therein had already been granted and no further orders were required.

4. In view of the above, yet another representation seeking the very same relief is impermissible. The present writ petition is therefore not maintainable and is accordingly dismissed. No costs.
