Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the order in M.A.No.310/00166/2015 in O.A.No.310/00093/2017 dated 11.1.2017 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench and quash the same and consequently direct the third respondent to number the petitioner's Original Application and take it on file for further disposal.

(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH,J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

2. It appears that regarding appointment of the petitioner Multi Task Staff, an application is said to have been submitted by the petitioner in the year 2012 which was rejected on the ground that he was overaged by that time and the further https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representations dated 7.2.2013, 17.9.2013 and 20.10.2014, which were said to have sent by the writ petitioner, seem to have not been either received by the authority or they were not sent through proper channel. Appreciating such factual aspects and also having found that there is no sufficient cause to condone the delay of 634 days on the part of the petitioner in filing the Original Application, the Central Administrative Tribunal has dismissed the said petition. Challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

In view of the fact that the petitioner was found overaged even at the time of submission of his application/representation and the further representations said to have been sent by the petitioner were not received at the end of the authority, coupled with the absence of any reason for condoning the inordinate delay in approaching the Tribunal, we do not find any reason to interfere with the order passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
