ORDER
(Order of the Court was delivered by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) According to the petitioner, he completed his LLB Degree course in the year 2012 and in order to enroll himself as an Advocate, he submitted an application dated 09.12.2013, before the respondent. However, his application was not processed by the respondent on the ground that a charge sheet is pending against the petitioner in C.C.No.10135 of 2014 on the file of XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 143, 188 & 285 I.P.C and 41 C.P. Act r/w 7(1)(a) of the Criminal Law Amendment Act. Feeling aggrieved, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition, for a mandamus directing the respondent to process his application dated 09.12.2013 and enroll him as Advocate in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu.

2.Heard the learned counsel on both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3.Considering the limited prayer sought by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to process the petitioner's application dated 09.12.2013, if not processed earlier, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with the rules, as expeditiously as possible, without causing undue delay, and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
4.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
