ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 25.07.2023, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for a rectification of the extent of property in the patta and which mistake had crept in during the UDR Scheme. 2.Heard Mr.S.N.Subramani, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

3.The claim of the petitioner is that he is the owner of 21 cents of land and whereas, it was wrongly mentioned as 16 cents. Hence, the petitioner made

3/5 a representation to rectify this mistake and to grant patta for the entire 21 cents. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 25.07.2023 and pass appropriate orders rectifying the extent of property in the patta, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
