Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent authority to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2015 for permission to conduct the dance programme at Therkkutheru Mariammam Koil Festival on 10.05.2015 at Therku Street, Kalpadi Post, Perambalur Taluk and District. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the Dharmakartha of Therkkutheru Mariamman Koil, situate at Therku Street, Kalpadi Post, Perambalur Taluk and District and the temple festival is scheduled to be conducted on 10.05.2015 and while conducting temple festival, song and dance programme will be conducted and in this regard, submitted a representation dated 23.04.2015 to the respondent seeking permission and since, he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and obscenity and vulgarity will not be there and hence, prays for appropriate orders. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Govt. Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondent.

5. This Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2015, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law on or before 06.05.2015 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
