Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to consider and dispose petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2023 requesting to restore Patta No.2083 originally issued to the land comprised in Old Survey No.195/6 New Survey No.195/6A Pollupalli Village, Krishnagiri District measuring an extent of 0.22.50 hectares, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to consider and dispose petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2023 requesting to restore Patta No.2083 originally issued to the land comprised in Old Survey No.195/6, New Survey No.195/6A, Pollupalli Village, Krishnagiri District measuring an extent of 0.22.50 hectares, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2/6

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2023 within the time as may be fixed by this Court.

3. Mr.T.Arun Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 6. Since no adverse order is being passed against the 7 th respondent, notice to the 7 th respondent is dispensed with.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and since this writ petition is filed seeking a simple writ of mandamus to consider the petitioner's representation, this Court without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to issue notice to the petitioner and to the 7 th respondent herein and also to the rival claimants/interested parties/objectors if any, as the case may be and conduct enquiry in the manner known to law and pass 3/6

orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. There shall be no order as to costs. 08.03.2024 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No Ksa-2 4/6
