The petitioner has filed this writ petition to call for the records in the impugned dismissal order issued in No.V/42870/2011-15 dated 09.10.2013 by the second respondent herein and quash the same is illegal and consequently direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to work continuously as a Forest Ranger Officer at Veppanthattai Range.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication. Hence, he prayed this Court to withdraw the present writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

3. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 14.03.2024 (vm) Index :
