O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 10.01.2025.
2. Heard Mr.K.Balu, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3.
3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 17.05.2024 registered as document No.4307 of 2024. The grievance of the petitioner is that patta has been issued in favour of the fourth respondent, who is the neighbouring land owner. Hence, the petitioner submitted an application seeking for transfer of patta in his name and also made a representation seeking for cancellation of patta that stands in the name of the fourth respondent. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
